Simple, yet chic, the Deneuve Bolero is named for iconic French film actress Catherine Deneuve, known for her work with filmmakers like Luis Buñuel, François Truffaut and as a muse of Yves St. Laurent. While known for her legendary roles in films like The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, Belle de Jour, The Hunger, and Indochine, she made a considerable impact on the world as a UN Goodwill Ambassador, by signing France’s Manifesto of 343 (an admission by its signers to have received illegal abortions, exposing themselves to judicial actions and prison sentences), and working with Amnesty International to abolish the death penalty.
