Our Leslie Courreges du Maurier Dress is named for English writer Daphne du Maurier. She was often characterized as a “romance novelist,” a term that she hated. du Maurier incorporated shadows of the paranormal and sinister into many of her works, and collections of forgotten short stories have shown how the matured author was ahead of her time in theme. She is best known for her novel, Rebecca, and short story, The Birds, as well as their film adaptations.
